My jean life revolves around a comfortable, stylish, form-fitting
jean to wear for any occasion and I mean any! I'm not the average
normal height and I'm not the shortest in the bunch either. If I had my way,
along with my shoe vault and infra-red security handbag closet, I would have a
live-in jean fit-guru who can design an array of jeans for me to wear
at any engagement. I am talking about jeans that fit my lifestyle and
complement my lifestyle situations (if anyone has designed a cocktail jean
dress, call me).
By the way, there is such a thing as a fit-guru and Donald Johannesson creator and
Design Director of Dish Jeans Ltd. There is a quality in his
designs that separates him from the rest of the jean companies. His 30-plus
years in the fashion industry has molded him to dedicate his talents
into making women look and feel good. Thanks! He specializes
in stretch fabrics combined with an innovating tailoring technique
that completes you and me.
His different approach to comfortable jeans has extended to a few conceptual
jean lines such as Dish, made for the young women from ages
18-25; DRT for the Dish boyfriend, young and young-at-heart
and the newly created line DESI, for the women who are never
to young-at-heart to wear a pair of form-fitting jeans.
I personally would recommend Dish Jeans Ltd. to anyone who favors a jean
world fantasy. If you care to visit just throw on a pair of red stilettos that
make your heels click three times to www.dishjeans.com where your desired jeans await.
How and why did Dish start and who started it?
Our roots date back to 1978, when a Vancouver
company was born to manufacture jeans by Harold Lenett. With a true passion for
denim, his son Gary helped evolve it into one of Canada's largest jeans producers.
The brand Dish was created in 2001 to develop authentic jeans wear for young
women, celebrating individual style, basing itself in the unique West Coast
spirit and core values of authenticity and integrity.
